Strictly speaking, this is not an Asian American theatre, although Artistic Director David Hsieh IS an Asian American (brother to Kathy Hsieh of the Northwest Asian American Theatre.) The mission of ReAct is to cast multiculturally, using actors of all races in both contemporary and classic theatre pieces.

In practice, however, ReACT has always cast a large number of Asian actors and has done a production of Lone Star and Bourbon with an all Asian American cast.
