The Mission of the Northwest Asian American Theatre

1. Produce, perform, promote and develop Asian/Pacific Islander American performing talent in the Northwest (including and not restricted to actors, directors, writers, designers and technicians) with an emphasis on youth.

2. Entertain and educate both Asian and non-Asian audiences with the best material Asian American culture can offer.

3. Raise the stature of the performing arts in the Northwest Asian/Pacific Islander American community.

What does NWAAT do?

NWAAT does shows, for people to peform/write in and for people to see. This offers a cultural history and resource for Asian Americans in the Northwest.

As well, NWAAT offers a multitude of training workshops and seminars, in acting, directing, design, etc.
