Stir-Friday Night: Digging to America

Get the early scoop on Stir-Friday Night! as they return for yet another season of their unique and original Asian American sketch comedy with the opening of their sixth show, Digging To America.

Follow the cast in this multi-media show as they dig up some real and not so real dirt in re-discovering their historical roots in the Land of Gold Mountain.

Stir-Friday Night! veteran, Ken Hamada, makes his directorial debut and goes for the triple crown as he becomes the first Stir-Friday Night! cast member to direct, write and perform. Ken brings a wealth of experience in performing and teaching long-form improv, having studied with such notables as Del Close and Mike Napier and performing with the groups "Baby Fishmouth" and "The Neighbors..

Digging To American is scheduled to run Friday and Saturday nights at 8:30 P.M., opening November 7 and running through December 6, at the National Pastime Theater, 4139 N. Broadway, Chicago. Tickets are $12 with special student and senior discount prices of $7.
