CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS flipsights -98 New Talent Festival

Teatro ng Tanan (TnT) is now accepting monologues, dialogues, and short plays for its 1998 new works festival^ flipsights ^-98. The contest is open to all published and unpublished writers interested in Filipino and Filipino American issues. The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. Friday, March 6, 1998.

This festival continues a tradition of TnT that empahsizes new works and fosters new writers creating a space for playwrights to hone their craft. Initial readings of selected works are scheduled for late March, 1998. If chosen, you have the option of working closely with TnT, giving you an opportunity to revise and improve your piece.

flipsights ^-98 will take place at Bindlestiff Theater, 185 6th Street, San Francisco, California, from Thursday, April 30 to Saturday, May 16, 1998. Writers may perform their own work or direct TnT actors.

Entry Information. Written entries must be typed or printed, double-spaced on letter size, 8 1/2^' X 11^' paper and must include:

^' Telephone Number

Submissions need to have been written within the last five years and have its professional premiere with TnT. Submissions should have no more than five characters and should run under twenty minutes.
