Asiansploitation presents an all-new sketch comedy revue: Oh My Godzilla!
Torontošs only All-Asian sketch comedy troupe celebrates Asian Heritage Month with an all-new revue called Asiansploitation: Oh My Godzilla!
Inspired by Asiašs most famous monster and coinciding with the release of Hollywoodšs newest reboot, Asiansploitation: Oh My Godzilla! explores
monsters, relationships, and our evolving urban world. Whether itšs the
current mayoral race, creepy Facebook stalker dates, or an unexpected
Filipino ghost, Asiansploitation returns its distinctive comedic Œslant
to the stage.
Asiansploitation: Oh My Godzilla! also
features the troupešs newest members and rising comedic talents: Aldrin
Bundoc, Rjay Garcia, Isabel Kanaan and Tiffany Kwan. They join
stalwarts James Cheng & Jeff B. Santos in bringing their writing
and performing chops to this brou-haha of monstrous proportions.
Additional writing provided by Soulpepper and Mirvish actors Byron
Abalos and Patrick Kwok Choon. Director Andrew Currie of Second City
and Speaker's Corner Devil's Advocates fame, helms the production.

Asiansploitation presents its first ever Comedy Lab Showcase and Alumni Jam immediately after the performance of Asiansploitation: Oh My Godzilla!
The Showcase features up-and-coming amateurs, including Daniel Parkes,
Chris Go, Tushar Gambhir, Byron Sevilla and Ulysses Valiente, trying
their hand at comedy on stage for the first time. The first ever
Asiansploitation Alumni Jam ends the evening featuring an improvisation
set featuring past members Byron Abalos, Gene Abella, Lana Carillo,
Gary Chan, Darrel Gamotin, and Andrea James Lui. The Comedy Showcase
and Alumni Jam is free with admission ticket to any Asiansploitation: Oh My Godzilla!
ABOUT ASIANSPLOITATION
Asiansploitation is Toronto's award-winning, all-Asian sketch comedy
and improve troupe (winner of the Best Comedy of the Fringe of Toronto
in 2010 by Just for Laughs). They seek to do Œsketch comedy with a
"slant." Asiansploitation is directed by Andrew Currie of Second City
and Devilšs Advocates fame. Founded in 2003 by improv classmates Gary
Chan, Glenn Gabriel and Jeff B. Santos, Asiansploitation has been
performing improvisation and sketch comedy acts throughout the Greater
Toronto Area for over a decade. As one of the GTAšs must-see comedy
troupes, their past shows The Text Generation (2013) and Spanks the Tiger (2010)
have received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. The troupe
