Pan Asian presents Rashomon

RASHOMON
by FAY and MICHAEL KANIN
directed by TISA CHANG
*From Feb. 13 to March 18*

A samaurai and his wife encounter a bandit in a bamboo forest. There is a killing and three different versions are given in court probing the question of what is truth, what is perception, and what is illusion? Set around 1000 A.D., at the height of the Heian period, the design will evoke a bamboo forest at the foot of ancient Kyoto’s Rashomon gate.
