Teatro ng Tanan is the San Francisco/ Bay Area's only community based Filipino American theater and cultural arts organization.

The mission of TnT is to promote a greater understanding of the Filipino community, its arts and its contributions to the cultural diversity of the United States.

Our focus has been and will continue to be developing new writers and directors. We are in the process of planning a Reading Series where interested authors/ poets/ playwrights have a space and venue to perform their works. The name of our Reading Series is "flipsights: istorya, dula-dulaan, tugtog, atbp."

This summer we plan to continue our yearly Youth Theater Program. This year's focus will be on developing their writing and eventually performing the works they've written.

We hope to tour our production of Peregri Nasyon: Is America in the Heart? by Chris Millado. We would like to bring this production to Central California and to (hopefully!) Hawaii.

My name is Rand Quinn. I am the acting executive director of Teatro ng Tanan (loosely, Theater for the People, or Theater for Everyone). Unfortunately, TnT doesn't have the resources to pay their volunteers, so for a living, I work as a community organizer for Berkeley Oakland Support Services, a service provider for Homeless/ Low Income people in Alameda County (Berkeley, Oakland, Hayward). Our organization draws on aroud 75 volunteers mainly from San Francisco/ Daly City. We have a core group of around 25 volunteers. We are directed by an Executive Committee, consisting of 5 people.
